NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Warriors rallied in the eighth inning scoring four runs to take down Iona 7-4.
Brooks Craigue tripled down the right field line in the eighth inning driving in the winning run.
Craigue ended his day with two hits, and two RBI's. The infielder has driven in six runs over the past three games.
Nick Hunkele pitched five innings, allowing three runs, and struck out seven batters.
Michael Bradshaw earned the win in two innings of scoreless relief.
Cole Yennaco shut down the Gaels in the ninth inning to earn the save.
Matt DeShiro also had two RBI's in the comeback win. He hit a double in the fifth inning to score a run and then drove in Craigue after his triple.
Garrett McGovern drove in a runner for the third time in the past four games.
McGovern hit one of the team's four doubles. Jack Andrews drove a runner in on a double that was hit in the fifth inning.
The team's leader in on-base-percentage, Joey Frammartino, hit two singles.
Jayden Hamilton also added two hits in the win.
The Warriors look to complete the sweep against the Gaels tomorrow afternoon. First pitch is slated for 12 p.m. noon.
