Merrimack Baseball Opens Up Three-Game Set At Sacred Heart

FAIRFIELD, CT - Merrimack baseball rolls back into conference action this weekend for three games against the Pioneers of Sacred Heart.

The Warriors are coming off a win against URI where nine different pitchers entered the game, and they struck out a combined eight batters.

The Warriors are led by right fielder Joey Frammartino, who is batting .343, and leads the team in OPS (1.031), SLG (.520), and OBP (.511).

Greg Cristino has smacked a team high six home runs, which brings his RBI total up to 29. Not only does he lead the team in both homers and RBI, but he also does in doubles (10).

Brooks Craigue has driven his batting average up to .303 after recording two hits against the Rams on Wednesday.

Matt DeShiro continues to stay hot, increasing his hit streak to six games, and on-base streak to 22.

Jack Andrews crushed his first home run of the season against Rhode Island earlier this week.
