Baseball Falls Just Short To UMass Lowell

LOWELL, MA - The Warriors scored eight runs in the final five innings of the game, but came up just short to rival UMass Lowell 10-8.

Brooks Craigue, Greg Cristino, and Jayden Hamilton all ended the day with two hits each. 

Craigue and Cristino both doubled in the game and had an RBI, while Hamilton drove in a team leading two runs.

Joey Frammartino found the bases three times off two walks and a fielder's choice. Frammartino also drove in two runs. 

Chris Goode, Samuel Sherman, and Cole Yennaco all had a hit and walk. Yennaco drove in his first run of the season. 

Matt DeShiro improved his hit streak to 10 games, and on-base streak to 25.

The Warriors head back home for a three game series against the Red Foxes of Marist this weekend. Game one is Friday at 3 p.m.
