EASTON, MA—Merrimack Men's Track and Field team finished in second place at the Skyhawk Meet in Easton on Saturday afternoon.
The team of Max Zitnay,
Manny Mahoney,
Jadis Yarbrough and
Thomas Scalia won the 4x100 meter race with a time of 41.75.
Elizardo Melenciano won the 110 meter hurdle event with a time of 14.77,
Jackson Bomba was fifth with a time of 16.09.
Keith Townsend and
Elizardo Melenciano locked up the top two spots in the 400 meter hurdles with times of 54.79 and 55.26.
The team of
Michael Alleva,
Aidan Dupill,
Reidar Aageson and
Ben Rich finished second in the 4x400 meter race with a time of 3.38.67.
Maddox Merlo was third in the 200 meter dash with a mark of 22.34.
Manny Mahoney finished third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.99,
Thomas Scalia rounded out the top five with a time of 11.11, and Jadis Yarborogh and
Brian Gallagher were seventh and eighth (11.47 / 11.47)
Jack Lyman was fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.48,
John Azpiri-Sudusky and
Luke Llewellyn were seventh and eighth (52.30 / 54.43)
Ben Smith was fourth in the 800 meter race with a time of 1:58.69, DJ Walsh was sixth with a time of 2:00.36.
Aidan Dupill placed fourth in the 1500 meter with a time of 3:59.52.
Grant Eastin won the shot put with a throw of 15.84 meters,
Kyle Adams was seventh with a mark of 13.64 meters.
Evan Thevenot won the triple jump with a distance of 13.76 meters.
Nathan Molina won the long jump with a mark of 6.84 meters,
Evan Thevenot and
Brian Gallagher were fourth and fifth with throws of 6.61 and 6.60 meters.
Brady Trask and
Kyle Adams finished second and third in the javelin throw with marks of 50.30 and 43.88 meters.
Four Warriors finished in the top eight in the Hammer Throw as
Grant Eastin was second with a throw of 57.22 meters.
Jared Ptaszek and
Jude Ibarra were fifth and sixth (52.80 / 51.48 meters) and Will Bierden was eighth (46.72 meters)
Four Warriors finished in the top eight in the discus as
Grant Eastin finished third with a throw of 43.60 meters, Will Bierden fourth (43.08 meters) and
Jude Ibarra and
Owen LaRoss seventh and eighth (39.69 / 38.84 meters)
Keith Townsend and
Nathan Molina were fifth and sixth in the high jump with marks of 1.90 and 1.85 meters.
Braeden Manti was sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.35 meters.
