NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. -- The Merrimack women's soccer team renew a rivalry when they visit Cushing Field in Lowell to take on the UMass-Lowell Riverhawks on Sunday at 6 PM. The game be seen on ESPN+.
Merrimack is looking to bounce back from their previous outing which was a 2-0 defeat to Northeastern, but they did draw their last road game 2-2 with Vermont on August 16
.
Historically, Merrimack is the more successful side in the matchup, holding a 17-6-3 record in all-time meetings as they're currently sporting a three-game winning streak and they've been victorious in four of the last five meetings, all which have happened in the last five seasons.
Bella Keogh has had the most success of a current Warrior against the Riverhawks with two goals and an assist in the last three meetings,
Ava Lovergine and
Emily McCabe also have notched assists.
