NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — The Merrimack women's tennis team fell to Southern New Hampshire University, 5-0, in a rain-shortened match at Brooks School on Wednesday.
In No. 1 doubles, Merrimack graduate student Latizia Bojara and freshman Miranda Ericson grabbed a set from the Pennmen. Fellow graduate student Paris Marozzelli shined in defeat as she grabbed two sets in her Merrimack debut. Warrior sophomore Pia Varges-Lopez, one of two returners for Merrimack, won a set in her No. 1 singles match as well.
The Warriors return to action on Thursday, Sept. 17, when they host Assumption University at Brooks School.
