NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's basketball program brings its two-game Northeast-10 Conference winning streak on the road tomorrow night when the Warriors make their way to Rindge, N.H. to take on Franklin Pierce University at 7:30 p.m. at the FPU Fieldhouse.  

Last Time Out:
  • Behind career games for sophomores Juvaris Hayes (Paterson, N.J.) and Jaleel Lord (Jersey City, N.J.), the Warriors used a 20-3 second-half run to put away visiting Saint Anselm, 86-71, on Saturday afternoon at Hammel Court
  • Hayes scored 23 of his career-high 31 points in the second half, while Lord netted a career-best 25 points, shooting 9-of-10 from the field and 7-of-8 from three-point range
  • Merrimack's primary ball-handler, Hayes notched a season-high tying five steals, while adding five rebounds and four assists. The Paterson native averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game over two games last week
  • Classmate Idris Joyner (Plainfield, N.J.) added 10 points and seven rebounds, narrowly missing out on his first double-double of the year
Team Leaders:
  • With three double-figure scoring games over his last four, Lord is now third on the Warriors with 8.9 points per game. The second-year southpaw is shooting a team-best 58.6 percent from three-point range. Lord is fifth in the NE10 in three-point percentage
  • Merrimack's top-four scorers of Hayes, junior Ryan Boulter (Mansfield, Mass.), Lord and Joyner all are currently shooting at least 50 percent from the field. Merrimack is the third-best shooting team in the league (48.4 FG%), while the Warriors are the top three-point shooting squad (40.6)
  • Hayes maintained his nationwide lead in total assists with 79, dropping to second in assists per game (8.8). He also paces the country in total steals (31) and is secon in steals per outing (3.44)
  • At 79.9 points per game, the Warriors rank sixth in the NE10 in scoring offense. Merrimack's scoring defense is in a similar spot, landing in seventh at 72.7 points allowed
The Ravens:
  • After starting the year with a pair of victories, the Ravens have dropped four of their last five contests to fall to 3-4 overall and 1-4 in league play
  • The Ravens have suffered a pair of four-point losses in NE10 play, including in their most recent game against Stonehill
  • The Raven's starting lineup features three seniors in Jordan Lackey, Mike McDevitt and Asante Sandiford. Lackey leads the team in scoring with 14.8 points per game on 52.1 percent shooting
  • Franklin Pierce employs one of the top rebounding teams in the league, pulling down the second-most boards of any program (40.9 rpg)
The Series:
  • Merrimack owns a 19-13 edge in the all-time series against Franklin Piece ahead of the 33rd meeting tomorrow night
  • The Warriors will look to snap a six-game losing streak in Rindge, with the program's last victory at The Fieldhouse coming in 2010
  • The Ravens swept the regular-season series between the two programs last year
