NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Facing a previously undefeated Bentley University women's tennis program, the Merrimack College women's tennis team handed the Falcons their first loss of the season, 5-4, on Wednesday afternoon from North Andover High School. The Navy and Gold avenged a pair of losses last season to the Falcons, including a defeat in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship.

- Sophomore Mia Briggs (York, Maine) joined junior Mana Seifaei (North York, Ontario) at the top flight. The duo held on at No. 1, defeating Bentley's top pairing in a 16-game contest, 9-7, which proved to be a crucial victory for the Warriors
