ROXBURY, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's and women's track & field teams competed against the top Division I, II, and III athletes in the New England Region at the Reggie Lewis Center this weekend.

Top Performers:
- Michaela Pernell and Calene Lazare finished second and fourth, respectively in the 60-meter dash. Pernell had a time of 7.54 seconds, while Lazare finished in 7.71 seconds. Both were the fastest among the Division II runners.
- Keith Steinbrecher destroyed a school record by five seconds and a personal record by six seconds in the mile. His time was 4:11.85, just 0.2 seconds off of the NCAA Provisional Qualifier.
- Lazare also placed eighth in the 200-meter race with a time of 26.07 seconds. Her time in the preliminary event on the first day was 25.45 seconds.
- Eric Rosario had a time of 49.72 seconds in the 400-meter preliminary race. Jacob Robinson ran the 200-meter race in 22.45 seconds. Both runners finished ninth in their respective events, just missing the cut for the finals on the second day. Robinson also had a time of 50.03 seconds in the 400-meter race.
- Connor Murphy ran the 800-meter preliminaries in 1:57.43. Patrick Forrest had a 50.08 second finish in the 400-meter preliminaries.
- Lauren MacGregor had a distance of 11.04-meters in the triple jump.
