SOUTH HADLEY, MASS. – The Merrimack College women's swimming team competed in the Seven Sisters Invitational for the first time in school history over the weekend. The two-day event had five teams from all over the state of Massachusetts. The Warriors came in fourth after scoring a total of 589 points during the weekend.

- The relay team of junior Cailin Currie, sophomore Madison Rawnsley, senior Andrea Taylor, and junior Erin Claflin came in third place in the 200-yard freestyle event after posting a time of 1:45.99.
- Currie also scored a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle event after posting a time of 5:33.93. She earned a second-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle after posting a time of 18:46.84. The event was the longest of the meet.
- Freshman Jordan Clements posted a time of 2:17.63 in the 200-yard individual medley event, which was good enough for a fifth-place finish. Clements also earned another fifth-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley event after posting a 5:02.96 time. In her best event of the weekend, she posted a third-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly event after swimming to a time of 2:21.86
- Senior captain Lucia Quesada Nylen finished in a tie for fourth place in the 50-yard freestyle event after posting a time of 25.90. Quesada Nylen earned a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly event posting a time of 1:03.40 earning 14 points for the Warriors.
- Taylor earned a third-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke event over the weekend after swimming a 1:02.10. She was less then a second off the winner. She also posted a third-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke event after posting a time of 2:18.12.
- The relay team of Taylor, Clements, Claflin, and senior Madison Decker finished in second-place during the 200-yard medley event. The group posted a time of 1:58.87. Another relay team that included Taylor, Clements, Quesada Nylen, and Rawnsley had a second-place finish in the 400-yard relay event after posting a time of 4:16.72.
- In the longest relay event of the meet, the team of Clements, Quesada Nylen, senior Alison Canjura, and freshman Michelle Roth finished in third place during the 800-yard freestyle after finishing with a time of 8:36.40.
