Women's Swimming Comes Out Victorious in First Meet of 2024

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Merrimack College swim team kicked of their new year with a big win over Assumption University on Saturday.
 
Coach Erin Cammann gave nothing but praise to her squad after a successful start to 2024, "It was good to see the team racing again, and this was a true team win. Everyone on the pool deck had a part to play, and they should all be very proud of themselves."

Neva Sa (sophomore) came out victorious in both the 1000 freestyle and the 500 freestyle.
Emma McCarthy (freshman) won the 100 breaststroke.
Brooke Malvey (freshman) won the 100 backstroke.
Madison McAloon (freshman), Emily Hopkins (freshman), Lydia Molettieri (junior), and Neva Sa all played a crucial role in winning the 200 freestyle relay.

Merrimack will travel to North Easton, Massachusetts to take on Stonehill College on January 27th.
