NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) honored seven members of the Merrimack College football program on Wednesday with induction to the 2020 NFF Hampshire Honor Society.
To qualify for the Honor Society, members must have completed their final year of playing eligibility in 2019, achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout their career, met NCAA-mandated progress toward degree requirements and have been starters or significant contributors throughout the 2019 season.
Student-athletes Sam Cooper, Gabe Dansereau, Robert Hulse, Steven Liakos, Jack Masterson, Joseph Pritchard and Corey Resendes were all recognized for their work on the field and in the classroom.
The 2020 NFF Hampshire Honor Society membership featured 1,454 student-athletes representing 366 institutions across the NCAA and NAIA.
