Women's Cross Country Competes at the New England Championships

Results

BOSTON, MASS. – Merrimack College women's cross country finished in 13^th place at the New England Championships on Saturday afternoon. Ava Mahoney was the top finisher for the Warriors after competing the course in a time of 18:52, which was good enough for 18^th place.

Samantha LiPetri was the next best finisher in 55^th place, she finished the course in a time of 19:31. Hannah Brisson came in third in the Warrior rankings, finishing just 20 seconds behind LiPetri with a time of 19:51.

 "Some of the girls ran well individually but our team performance was a bit of disappointment. Like the men, tightening up our 1-5 pack will be the key to our team's success this season," said Chris Cameron.
