The Merrimack Men's Track and Field team put on a good showing at the URI Meet yesterday in Kingston Rhode Island, highlighted by a victory in the men's 4x400 meter relay.

The team of
Jaeden Smith,
Blake Hickey,
Colin Rahaman and
Cory Couture won the men's 4x400m relay with a winning time of 3:25.73, the team of
Ryan Gamelin,Â
Michael Alleva,
Antonio Craveiro finished sixth with a time of 3:34.04
Cory Couture finished second in the men's 500 meter final with a time of 1:06.71. He also finished second in the 200m dash event with a time of 22.45.
Zachary Fisher finished third in the 200m dash final with a time of 22.65, as well as finishing fourth in the mens 3000 meter run with a time of 8:55.88
Neil Letellier finished sixth in the 3000m run with a time of 8:57.03.
Ryan Gamelin finished third in the 800m run, with a time of 1:57.08
Billy Coakley and
Ryan Dyer finished second and third in the men's one mile final with times of both 4:18.80 and 4:25.30,
Trey Gonzalez finished eighth in the same event with a time of 4:29.77

Claudel Chevalier finished fifth in the men's weight throw final, with a distance of 16.06m (52' 8")
Drew Gardner finished sixth with a distance of 4.20m (13' 9.25")

The Warriors next meet takes place next Saturday in a meet hosted by UMass Lowell at the TRACK at New Balance in Brighton Mass.
