Men's Track Field Puts in Good Showing at Riverhawk Invitational

The Merrimack Men's Track and Field team had a good showing at the Riverhawk Invitational held at the TRACK at New Balance on Saturday afternoon.
 
Notes and Numbers:
Merrimack's 4x1600 relay team of Jaeden Smith, Blake Hickey, Colin Rahaman, Cory Couture finished second in the event with a final time of 3:21.27.

Cory also set a new school record with his 1:03.89 mark in the Men's 500m run, winning the event in the process.
 
Billy Coakley finished ninth in the men's 3000 meter run with a time of 8:36.32.
 
Timothy Walsh finished tenth in the men's 5000 meter run with a time of 15:14.30
 
Michael Alleva finished tenth in the men's one mile run with a time of 4:17.04.
 
UP NEXT:
The Warriors next meet will be at the New England Indoor Track and Field Championships in Brighton, at the TRACK at New Balance.
