Staten Island, NY - The Merrimack Men's Track and Field team finished in fifth place with 70 points total in Sunday and Monday's 2023 Northeast Conference Indoor Championship.
Notes and Numbers:

Cory Couture won the 400-meter final with a time of 47.65.
John Elie finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles.
Michael Alleva finished fifth in the 1 mile run at 4:25.

Ryan Gamelin and Zachary Bail finished both fifth and sixth in the 800-meter run with times 1:55 and 1:56.
·
Billy Coakley finished fourth in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:38, he also placed fifth in the 5000 meter run with a time of 15:12.
·
Drew Gardner won the pole vault with a mark of 4.75m while
Max Bothwell (4.30m) and Tucker Caroll (4.05m) finished fifth and ninth.
Claudel Chevalier finished eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 15.27m.
· The Men's team finished second in the 4000m distance medley relay at 10:18, and finished fourth in the 4x400 meter relay at 3:20
