Couture and Gardner Star at Raleigh Relay

Raleigh N.C. Members of the Merrimack Men's Track and Field team, competed in the Raleigh Relay this past weekend, a meet consisting of some of the top track and field athletes from around the country at the collegiate level. The Warriors impressed in the meet with Cory Couture and Drew Gardner setting personal bests and Couture finishing third of 39 competitors in the 400 meter event.
 

• Cory Couture finished third in the 400 meter event with a time of 47.13, a new personal best and moved in second place in the all time school record list.
• Drew Gardner finished fifth in the men's pole vault event with a mark of 4.55m (14' 11") a new personal best for him.

 
 
Up Next: The Warriors head to Bryant in participate in the Black and Gold Invitational  on March 31^st and April 1^st .
