SOMERSET,
N.J. – Merrimack College's
Lindsay Atkinson of the women's lacrosse team has won NEC Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Atkinson had a career-best outing on Saturday at Iona. The freshman led Merrimack with 4 goals, which would also be her career-high. She won NEC Rookie of the Week last week for her tremendous play and hopes to continue her illustrious start as a Warrior.
The Warriors travel to the west coast over spring break to play the University of Oregon on Wednesday, March 6
th at 8:00 PM.
