SMITHFIELD, RI Six members of the Merrimack Men's Indoor Track and Field team traveled to Smithfield RI. to compete in the Bryant Indoor Throws Competition. The six competed in three field events: shot put, weight throw, and discus against several top opponents across New England.
How it Happened
- Daniel Blatman had a successful performance in weight throw, tossing for 16.92m for his second podium finish of the season.
- Jared Ptaszek also landed in the top five with a mark of 16.62m.
- Jude Ibarra and William Bierden threw 14.04m and 11.48m respectively.
- In men's discus Owen LaRoss produced a top-10 performance, finishing eight with a mark of 43.68m.
- Kyle Adams notched 12th place in the men's shot put with a mark of 14.01m.
