Seven Warriors Compete in BU Valentine Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – Seven members of the Merrimack College men's indoor track & field team competed in the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University at the Track & Tennis Center on Friday.
 
How it Happened

• Tyler Fortune finished second in the men's 200m dash with a PB time of 21.84. Fortune also competed in the 60m dash where he placed fourth with a time of 6.94 seconds.
• Merrimack had five other runners participate in the 200m dash. Carson Mighty finished 40^th , crossing the line in 22.42 meanwhile teammate Maddox Merlo finished 46^th with a time of 22.53. Landon Crowley also found success in the sprint, racing 22.61 for 53^rd place. Thomas Scalia placed 70^th in the event with a time of 22.84 and Blake Hickey rounded things out for Merrimack with his time of 23.22 for 103^rd place.
• Jadis Yarbrough finished 74^th in the men's 400m dash with a time of 51.02.
