Women's Track and Field Competes at Gordon Kelly Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –  The Merrimack College women's indoor track & field team competed in the Gordon Kelly Invitational hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Saturday.
 
How it Happened

• Caroline White won the women's 800m dash with a PB time of 2:26.54 while Courtney Hinchion finished third with a time of 2:32.20.
• Marianna Collins claimed first place in the women's 1000m after crossing the line with a PR of 3:10.87. Kiley Halpin finished in 3:24.60 to take fourth. Allison Dove rounded things out for the Warriors with a seventh place finish (3:31.57).
• Merrimack had two Warriors finish top-five in the 400m. Adreienne McKoy-Sophos finished third with a time of 1:05.53 meanwhile teammate Keira Fadden placed fifth, posting a time of 1:05.68.
• Grace Bleyer and Madison DeCamp found success in the 60m dash. Bleyer routed the circle in 8.07 seconds to take third, while Madison DeCamp clocked in at 8.24 for fifth place.
• DeCamp also participated in the 200m, where she finished in first place after racing 26.58 seconds.
• Brianna Farrell produced a top-ten finish in the women's mile with a time of 6:04.41.
• Merrimack also found success in the field as Elizabeth Murphy finished third in high jump, clearing 1.56m (5-01.25).
• Caitlin Garrahy placed 19^th in shot put, tossing for 9.97m (32-08.50).
• Makayla Champagne led the charge in women's weight throw, finishing fourth with a measure of 14.94m (49-00.25).
• Anya Cunningham produced a top-ten finish in weight throw with a mark of 13.61m (44-08.00). Garrahy also found success in the event, securing 11^th with a mark of 13.28m (43-07.00).
• Grace Bleyer won the women's long jump with a mark of 5.30m (17-04.75) while teammate Lauren Boughner finished sixth with a mark of 4.71m (15-05.50).
• Bleyer finished runner-up in triple jump with a mark of 10.80m (35-05.25).
