Clark Named to NABC North Atlantic District First Team

On Tuesday, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced their annual All-District Team. Merrimack College point guard Adam "Budd" Clark was named to the first-team in the North Atlantic District. Cark was one of 10 players picked for the first team.

The Philadelphia, Pa. native led the conference in scoring after averaging 20.2 points per game. He scored in double figures all but one game so far this season. Clark had a career-high 32 points in a win against Niagara in February Nationally he ranked 13th in points per game. The Philly guard also led the conference in steals with 85 and steals per game with 2.7 per contest. The 85 steals were 15 better than the next best player in the MAAC. Nationally, Clark was fifth in total takeaways and takeaways per game. Clark had 181 assists which was good enough for second best in the MAAC. He also averaged 5.8 assists per game with was good enough for third in conference. He ranked in the top 30 nationally in both categories.
