BOSTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's indoor track & field team competed in the NEICAAA Indoor Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston Massachusetts this weekend. The Warriors finished sixth overall, scoring a total of 43 points over the weekend.
How it Happened I Friday March 7
- Carson Mighty finished seventh in the 200m dash prelims, producing a qualifying time of 22.43 seconds. Tyler Fortune finished 11th after racing 22.60 seconds.
- Owen Schultz led the Warriors in the 800m run, finishing top-5 with a qualifying time of 1:55.77.
- In the men's 5000m run, Jack Lombardi finished third, producing a 5k time of 15:12.14.
- Nathan Molina found success in high jump, clearing 1.86m for 18th place. Tyler Lloyd also competed in the event, finishing 20th with a mark of 1.81m.
- In pole vault Maxim Lussier cracked the top-10 with a mark of 4.58m.
- Nathan Molina produced a 12th place finish in long jump with a mark of 6.34m while teammate Evan Thevenot finished in 13th, covering 6.30m. Brian Gallagher also had a successful performance in long jump, securing a mark of 6.27m, good for 15th place.
- In the weight throw, Jared Ptaszek led the way with a mark of 16.75m, good for sixth place.
How it Happened I Saturday March 8
- John Elie Jr. won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.08 seconds.
- Tyler Fortune finished fifth in the men's 60m dash, punching in at 6.99 seconds.
- Carson Mighty finished seventh in the 200m dash, crossing the line in 22.67 seconds.
- Sean Moore and Aidan Dupill finished sixth and seventh respectively in the men's mile. Moore crossed the line in 4:18.05 with Dupill right on his heals (4:18.27).
- Owen Schultz finished eighth in the 800m run with a time of 1:59.02.
- In the field, Kyle Adams finished 12th in shot put, tossing for 13.19m. Owen LaRoss hit a mark of 11.94m, good for 17th place.
- Evan Thevenot finished fourth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 13.54m, adding 5 points to the Warriors total.
- The men's 4x400m relay tandem of Tyler Fortune, Landon Crowley, Blake Hickey, and Maddox Merlo finished third with a time of 3:23.80.

This concludes the indoor season. The Warriors return to action March 21
st for the Black and Gold Invite hosted by the University of Central Florida. The two-day invite will take place at the UCF Track & Field Complex in Orlando Florida.
