How it Happened
- Merrimack had an exceptional outing in discus as Grant Eastin set a new school record with a throw of 47.14m - only for it to be broken just seconds later by teammate Owen LaRoss, who launched a throw of 48.62m to set a program best. Eastin and LaRoss finished fifth and sixth respectively in a field of 20 competitors.Â
- Maxim Lussier placed second in pole vault, clearing 4.62m while battling strong wind conditions.
The three competed and ranked competitively against top Division I programs like UNH, UMass Amherst, and Northeastern.Â
