SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Merrimack College men's lacrosse seniors
Brian Bouwman and
Ryan Cole both earned spots on the NEILA All-Academic team as announced on Thursday morning.
Bouwman owned a stellar 3.78 GPA while earning his Bachelor's Degree in criminology and criminal justice. The senior attackman was also no stranger to producing on the field as he scored a team best 20 goals during the 2025 season.
Ryan Cole was the second member selected to the NEILA All-Academic Team after boasting a 3.88 GPA in his pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in health science. Cole was an integral part of the leadership group for Merrimack this past season. He went on to total 18 ground balls and eight caused turnovers throughout 13 games played at long stick midfielder.
The duo of Bouwman and Cole we're consistent performers both on and off the field throughout the duration of their four-year careers as Warriors which aided in their selection to the NEILA All-Academic team.
