North Andover, Ma. – Graduate Student Back
Alessandro Bedei was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Bedei, a Cesena, Italy native played 168 minutes for Merrimack in their opening week of games, and scored a highlight reel bicycle kick in the final 10 minutes of play to win the game for the Warriors on August 24
th against the College of the Holy Cross.
Bedei and the Warriors remain at home for their next match on August 28th against the Stonehill College Skyhawks at 7 PM at Martone-Mejail Field.
