AMESBURY, Mass. – Merrimack College women's hockey junior defense
Hailey Eikos was named the Hockey East Defender of Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Eikos, a junior for Brooklyn Park, Minnesota had three points in two games this weekend, with an assist on the tying goal on Friday, as well as assisting on the opening and game winning goal in Merrimack's 5-3 win over #7 Clarkson on Saturday. This is Eikos' first time winning this award.
Eikos and the Warriors hit the road as they head to New York to face Union College on Friday, October 3
rd. Puck drop is at 6 PM.
