Sa Breaks Her Own School Record On Day 2 Of MAAC Championships

 
GENEVA, OH – Neva Sa broke her own school record in the 500-yard relay on the second day of the MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships at SPIRE Institute.

Sa swam the 500 in 5:05.91 to take 13th. The Warriors are in 10th place after two days.

Kendra Daily finished 10th in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.90.

"It was a solid opening day of individual swim events for us," Merrimack head coach Erin Cammann said. "Neva and Kendra led the way again, both making it back to the finals tonight and Neva lowering her own record in the 500."

Merrimack's Cameron Zuliani, Keeley Harney, Emma McCarthy and Daily finished 10th in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:39.31.

The MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships continue Friday and wrap up on Saturday. The meet is streaming live on ESPN+.
