Men's Track and Field Takes Part Of Riverhawk Invite

BOSTON, MA-- Merrimack Men's Track and Field took part in the second day of the Riverhawk Invite at the TRACK at New Balance on Saturday afternoon, capturing two podium finishes.
 
Gabriel Qureshi ran a time of 47.62 in the 400-meter dash invite, which was good for second position, Qureshi also collected a ninth place finish in the 200 meter dash invite with a time of 21.78.
 
Kyle Adams finished in third in the Shot Put open, with a throw of 13.49 meters.
 
The 4x400 relay team of Samuel Charrette, Keith Townsend, Elizardo Melenciano, Gabriel Qureshi took home fourth place in the event, clocking in with a time of 3:19.11.
 
Jude Ibarra placed in seventh in the Weight Throw open event, reaching a mark of 13.70 meters.
 
Hunter Schobel finished eighth in the Long Jump open with a mark of 6.14 meters.
 
John Azpiri-Sudusky took eighth in the 400 meter dash open race with a time of 51.19.
