FAIRFIELD, CT - Warrior volleyball is back on the court for an afternoon matchup against the Pioneers of Sacred Heart this Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Warriors are coming off a thrilling senior day victory that went five sets against the Pioneers last Saturday.
Max Tkachev led the way for the Warriors tallying his second straight double-double. Tkachev fired 16 kills and tallied 12 digs. The big day brought his kill total up to 139 on the season and 71 in digs.
The Warrior leader in kills on the season, Dallas Birkenbeuel, racked up 13 kills in the win. He's up to 193 kills this season and 83 digs.
Senior Nick Tidik came to play last weekend, blocking four shots. He's up to 35 total blocks on the season.
Kyle Standage is the team leader in digs with 127. He put up a team leading 12 last weekend against the Pioneers.
Reece Lindstrom is 33rd in the nation in assists per set with 8.61. He is up to 365 assists on the season after tallying 40 last week.
Jack Johnson is up to 29 blocks, while Nathaniel Venegas has 21, and Blake Taschner is up to 19.
Match time is set for 1 p.m. against the Pioneers live from the Pitt Center.
