Red Hot Warriors Look To Make It Four In A Row Against AIC

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Merrimack College men's volleyball team takes on American International this Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Warriors are coming off their third straight win this past weekend. It marks the team's longest winning streak of the season. 

In incredible reverse sweep fashion, the Warriors defeated Dominican University last Friday. 

Max Tkachev paved the way with a season high 22 kills while Dallas Birkenbeuel had a 18 kill, 14 dig double-double. 

The Warriors are led by Birkenbeuel in the kills department. He hit the 250 mark in the team's last win. 

Tkachev is up to 183 kills on the season while Blake Taschner just hit the triple digits mark with 104 this past weekend. 

Taschner is up to triple digits in three different categories. Kills (104), Assists (109), and Digs (128). 

Reece Lindstrom cruised to a 50 assist match against the Chargers on Friday. The stellar performance was capped off by his 500th assist of the season. 

Kyle Standage continues to lead the team in digs. He is up to 182 this season. 

Nick Tidik closes in on the half-century mark in blocks, after tallying his 46th of the season last week. 

Jack Johnson follows very close behind, with 40 of his own blocks.
