What They Said:
Head coach
Chris Cameron: "The men finished fifth, it was our first Division I championship so we're pleased with that. We had five runners in the top 25, normally you'd score a lot higher as a team but it was a deep field. I'm pleased with the way the men ran, I don't think we could have run too much better than that. Overall, a really nice job by the men."
How It Happened:
- Junior Gunnar Hasselquist came in behind Corliss in 17th, Noah Davis was the team's third runner, finishing in 19th, just missing out on the All-Conference mark of the top 14 finishers.
- Shamus Malia was the group's fourth-best finisher, crossing in 24th joined behind him with senior Brian Sardinskas taking the team's best finish in 25th.
