NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Following Saturday's dramatic comeback win against rival Le Moyne, the No. 4 Merrimack College men's lacrosse team will remain at home to take on Bentley University as part of a lacrosse doubleheader on Wednesday at Duane Stadium. The Warriors will battle the Falcons at 7 p.m.

BEER GARDENS AVAILABLE FOR HOME GAMES
Merrimack is pleased to offer a 21+ Beer Garden on the stadium patio for all home men's lacrosse games (opposite the press box side, closest to the Merrimack Athletics Complex). The patio opens one hour before faceoff and closes at the end of the third quarter. Light snacks are also available for purchase.

Five Things to Know:
  • Merrimack earned its most impressive win of the season last Saturday, rallying from five goals down with just over 11 minutes left to stun rival and then-No. 4 Le Moyne at Duane Stadium, 12-11. The Warriors picked up their first home win over the Dolphins in six years and handed Le Moyne its first conference loss of the season in the process.
  • Despite being held to a season-low 12 goals in Saturday's victory, the Warriors still own one of the NE10's top scoring offense (and the country's second-best), averaging 17.00 goals per game. They also boast the nation's second-ranked man-up offense that converts at 45.8 percent.
  • Junior Charlie Bertrand continues to back up his status as one of the nation's best overall players with a team-leading 42 points on the strength of 31 goals and 11 assists in only five. He leads the country in points per game (9.50) and goals per game (7.00) and ranks 10th in assists per game (2.50).
  • Merrimack has won 18 straight games at home, the longest active home winning streak in the country. The last time the Warriors lost a game at home was on March 18, 2017. The Warriors have also won 13 straight against NE10 foes, the longest active streak in the NE10 and third-longest conference winning streak nationally.
  • The Warriors have also taken care of the ball well, as indicated by their nation-low 10.75 turnovers per game and an 82.3-percent clearing percentage.
  • Winners of eight straight against Bentley, Merrimack controls the all-time series with a 19-13 record over the Falcons. Last year, they prevailed by four goals on the road (11-7), while their last home game against Bentley resulted in a 19-8 victory. The Falcons enter 3-1 (1-1 NE10) and are led offensively by Alex Astarita (13 points), while goalkeeper Michael Haggan has started four games and has held opponents to 9.18 goals against and owns a .553 save percentage.
