NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- Merrimack men's lacrosse standouts
Colin Kruger and Dan Bezrutchenko were named to the Team of the Week by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, according to a release from the NEILA on Monday.
Kruger tied for a team-high four points (two goals, two assists) while Bezrutchenko won 66 percent (19-for-29) of his face offs to help the Warriors pull out a 14-12 victory over Quinnipiac in the MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championships at Duane Stadium on Sunday.Â
It marks the first time this season Kruger or Bezrutchenko have been honored by the NEILA. Merrimack teammate
Jack Salva previously was honored by the association March 30.Â
Kruger, Bezrutchenko and the Warriors continue their postseason with a trip to top-seeded Siena scheduled for Thursday at noon ET.
