NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 4 Merrimack College men's lacrosse team will take on its third top-10 opponent in the national rankings this season when it welcomes No. 9 Pace University on Saturday in a pivotal Northeast-10 Conference showdown at Duane Stadium. Game time is set for 4 p.m.

BEER GARDENS AVAILABLE FOR HOME GAMES
Merrimack is pleased to offer a 21+ Beer Garden on the stadium patio for all home men's lacrosse games (opposite the press box side, closest to the Merrimack Athletics Complex). The patio opens one hour before faceoff and closes at the end of the third quarter. Light snacks are also available for purchase.

Five Things to Know:
  • The Warriors extended their longest win streak of the season to seven games following another lopsided win on Wednesday at Franklin Pierce (18-8). Both junior Charlie Bertrand and sophomore Sean Black had five goals in that game, which saw the Warriors pile up 12 goals at the half and lead by 13 goals (18-5) after three quarters.
  • Recording no fewer than 12 goals in any game this season, Merrimack owns the NE10's best scoring offense (and the country's third-best), averaging 17.70 goals per game. They also boast the nation's top-ranked man-up offense that converts at 53.8 percent. The Warriors have also taken care of the ball well, as indicated by their 14.10 turnovers per game (2nd-fewest in the country) and an 82.6-percent clearing percentage that ranks 29th nationally.
  • Bertrand continues to back up his status as one of the nation's best overall players with a team-leading 67 points on the strength of 52 goals and 15 assists in eight games. He leads the country in points per game (7.44) and goals per game (5.78), while Black leads the country in assists per game (3.89) and ranks second in scoring average (6.33), behind only Bertrand. Classmate Christian Thomas, who has 22 points in his last three games alone (10g, 12a), ranks 10th nationally in assists average, as well (2.60).
  • Merrimack has won 20 straight games at home, the longest active home winning streak in the country. The last time the Warriors lost a game at home was on March 18, 2017. The Warriors have also won 18 straight against NE10 foes, the longest active streak in the NE10 and the country.
  • Merrimack controls the all-time series against Pace thanks to 11 straight wins, including a 10-goal victory last year on the road. The Setters, whose only losses are to Le Moyne and Adelphi, are led by Daniel Keenan's 58 points (29g, 28a). Bryce Clark has gone 81-of-158 at the faceoff X (.513), while Louis Ragusa has started all 11 games and owns a .608 save percentage and a 7.78 goals against average.
