NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 4 Merrimack College men's lacrosse team returns home to face another Granite State conference rival, as the Warriors welcome Southern New Hampshire University to town for a Saturday afternoon tilt. Game time from Duane Stadium is 1 p.m.

BEER GARDENS AVAILABLE FOR HOME GAMES
Merrimack is pleased to offer a 21+ Beer Garden on the stadium patio for all home men's lacrosse games (opposite the press box side, closest to the Merrimack Athletics Complex). The patio opens one hour before faceoff and closes at the end of the third quarter. Light snacks are also available for purchase.

Five Things to Know:
  • The Warriors are still riding their longest win streak of the season (5) following a gritty road win at No. 20 Saint Anselm on Tuesday night. In a matchup of last year's NE10 Tournament finalists, the Warriors flexed their muscles in the second half, outscoring the Hawks, 9-3, over the final 30 minutes to win by six. Sophomores Christian Thomas (5g, 5a) and Sean Black (8a) combined with junior Charlie Bertrand (8g) for 26 points amongst the three of them in Tuesday's win.
  • Recording no fewer than 12 goals in any game this season, Merrimack owns the NE10's best scoring offense (and the country's third-best), averaging 17.88 goals per game. They also boast the nation's top-ranked man-up offense that converts at 50.0 percent. The Warriors have also taken care of the ball well, as indicated by their nation-low 13.13 turnovers per game and an 84.7-percent clearing percentage that ranks 20th nationally.
  • Bertrand continues to back up his status as one of the nation's best overall players with a team-leading 62 points on the strength of 47 goals and 15 assists in seven games. He leads the country in points per game (7.75) and goals per game (5.88), while Black leads the country in assists per game (3.75) and third in scoring average (6.38).
  • Merrimack has won 19 straight games at home, the longest active home winning streak in the country. The last time the Warriors lost a game at home was on March 18, 2017. The Warriors have also won 16 straight against NE10 foes, the longest active streak in the NE10 and second-longest conference winning streak nationally.
  • Merrimack is well ahead in the head-to-head series against SNHU, owning a 35-8 mark all-time that includes seven straight wins. Last year, the Warriors topped the Penmen by 11 goals on the road. SNHU has struggled thus far with a 2-7 record; Cole Jacobsen leads the team with 27 points, while Andrew Liu has won 74-of-123 faceoffs.
