NORTH ANDOVER, Mass – The Merrimack College women's track and field team earned a second place finish at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday.

Weekend Highlights:
- The Warriors took second place behind host Bowdoin in the event, finishing a single point behind the host team.
- Freshman Nate Quaye took first place in the shot put at a new school record of 14.83m. Quaye finished the meet with a second place weight throw finish with 18 points.
- Travis Hunt finished behind Quaye, taking second in the shot put at 13.76m.
- Eric Rosario won the 600m at 1:22.40.
- TJ Corliss won the 1000 meter run in 2:32.08, with senior Noah Davis finished second in the event at 2:34.60.
- The 4x400 relay group won the event, as Colin Rahman, Daniel Lovell, Jason Louis and Patrick Whyte finished in 3:31.84.
- Whyte also took first place in the high jump at 2.00m and second place in the 400m at 52.10.
- The Warriors finished second through seventh place in the triple jump.

The Warriors will compete at the John Thomas Invitational at Boston University on January 24 and 25.
