SOMERSET, N.J. — Merrimack College men's lacrosse freshman midfielder,
Trace Hogan, was named the NEC Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
The Jupiter, Fla. native scored his first collegiate goal Sunday afternoon at Hofstra in the second quarter when he converted off a pass from
Jack Rooney.
Hogan also had two shots on goal and a pair of ground balls during the Warriors' season-opening 8-7 setback to the Pride.
Merrimack returns to the field Saturday afternoon for a 12:00 pm start against Boston University at Nickerson Field.
