Pongo Wins Hockey East Player of The Month for December

AMESBURY, Mass. –

Merrimack College women's hockey junior forward, Alexa Pongo, was named the Hockey East Player of the Month, as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

In the month of December, Pongo recorded five goals in five games, including a two goal performance vs Providence on December 2^nd.

The Warriors return to action this Friday as they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday January 6^th.
