SOMERSET,
N.J. – Merrimack College's
Jacob Dubas of the men's tennis team has won NEC Men's Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Dubas played great in their matches against Queens College and Wagner. The freshman lost in a hard-fought three set battle against a formidable opponent this past Friday, then bounced back the following day. On Saturday, Dubas and NEC Player of the Week
Aryaan Bhatia, took down their double's opponents and Dubas would go on to win his singles match in two sets.
The Warriors travel to Hamden, Connecticut to face-off against the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Friday, March 15
th at 2:00 PM.
