Lowell, MA— The Merrimack Men's Track and Field Team competed in the UMass-Lowell George Davis Invitational this past weekend Posting eight podium finishes and a John Elie victory in the 110 hurdles event.
Grant Eastin finished second in the Shot Put, with a throw of 15.18 meters,
Kyle Adams finished in sixth in the same event throwing 13.94 meters.
Jude Ibarra finished runner-up in the Discus Throw reaching 36.27 meters,
Kyle Adams finished seventh with a throw of 32.95 meters.
Maxim Lussier finished on the podium in third with a height of 4.40 meters in the Pole Vault.
Eastin also finished fourth in the Hammer Throw with a throw of 51.66 meters,
Jared Ptaszek finished in 5
th reaching 48.19 meters, and 7
th for
Liam Silva as well, throwing a mark of 43.19 meters.
Clayton Rahaman finished in 7
th in the Long Jump reaching 6.48 meters,
Tucker Carroll finished 9
th with a mark of 6.43 meters, and
Brian Gallagher rounded out the top ten with a mark of 6.27 meters.
Blake Wadley placed in 7
th in the Triple Jump reaching 12.70 meters.
Grant Eastin finished 9
th in the Discus Throw Invitational with a throw of 41.17 meters.
John Elie won the 110 hurdles event with a winning time of 14.92 seconds.
Jackson Bomba finished 7
th with a time of 16.32.
Billy Coakley finished runner up in the 1500 Meter run with a time of 3:49.29,
Neil Letellier finished seventh with a time of 3:57.99.
Sean Glass placed in second with a time of 10.92 in the 100 Meter dash, Sean also finished second in the 200 Meter dash, with a time of 21.71.
Mark Sten finished on the podium in third with a mark of 49.24 seconds in the 400 Meter run.
Ryan Dyer finished 5
th in the 5000 meter run, with a time of 15:15.94.
The 4x100 meter team of
Sean Glass,
Justin Franco,
Manny Mahoney,
Carson Mighty, finished second in the event, with a time of 42.93. Merrimack's second team of
Jaeden Smith,
Blake Wadley,
Alex Collins,
Colin Rahaman finished fourth in the same event with a time of 44.51.
DJ Walsh placed 8
th in the Stepplechase event, with a time of 10:00.72, Chris Moriarty rounded out the top 10 with a mark of 10:30.17.
