Easton, MA— The Merrimack Men's Track and Field Team finished runner up at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational with eight podium finishes and 119 points overall.
Grant Eastin won the hammer throw with a distance of 50.66 meters,
Jared Ptaszek finished second with a throw of 50.08 meters,
Liam Silva and
Jude Ibarra finished fifth and sixth with distances of 41.88 and 41.04 meters.
Maxim Lussier won the men's pole vault, notching a height of 4.55 meters,
Tucker Carroll and
Max Bothwell finished fourth and fifth with heights of 4.10 meters, and
Tyler Lovendale finished sixth with a height of 3.35 meters.
Blake Wadley finished runner-up in the triple jump reaching 13.39 meters,
Brian Gallagher finished sixth reaching 11.76 meters. Wadley and Gallagher also finished fourth and fifth in the long jump with marks of 6.54 and 6.43 meters each. Daniel Aghor also placed in the long jump with a jump of 5.69 meters.
Jackson Shea finished fifth in the high jump, with a mark of 1.78 meters.
Zachary Hubbard and
Kyle Adams finished fifth and sixth in the javelin throw hitting 50.46 and 48.00 meters each.
Grant Eastin finished on the podium in third place in the shot put, throwing a distance of 15.68 meters,
Kyle Adams hit 14.01 meters, good for sixth.
Jude Ibarra finished sixth in the discus with a toss of 38.57 meters.
Billy Coakley won the 800 meter run with a time of 1:55.06,
Neil Letellier finished second with a time of 1:55.31.
Luke Llewellyn and
Antonio Craveiro finished fifth and sixth with times of 1:56.23 and 1:56.27.
Sean Glass finished third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.56 seconds.
Blake Hickey placed fourth in the 400 meter hurdle event with a time of 57.69.
Merrimack 4x100 team of
Jaeden Smith,
Manny Mahoney,
Franco Recto and
Carson Mighty finished fourth with a time of 42.98.
Jackson Bomba finished fourth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.86.
