Perry Promoted to Head Field Hockey Coach

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Rachel Perry has been promoted the head field hockey coach of Merrimack College as announced on Monday by Director of Athletics, Jeremy Gibson.

Perry, who was with Merrimack as an assistant last season, came to North Andover from the College of Holy Cross where she played in 54 career games. She was named a captain of the Crusaders during her senior season. In addition to coaching with the Warriors last season, Perry has been the head coach of the Cape Ann Field Hockey Club since 2017. She has developed players to go on to play at all collegiate levels. Perry has served as their director of youth and academy programs since 2020.

Perry completed her bachelor's degree in psychology from Holy Cross in 2022. In her senior year with the Crusaders she was named to the Patriot League Honor Roll, as well as the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
