AMESBURY, Mass. – Merrimack College women's hockey sophomore goaltender
Adreanna Doucette was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week for the first time in her career as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Doucette, a sophomore from Milbury, Massachusetts made her return to the Warriors' net in style last weekend, making 25 saves in the first two periods for the Warriors, keeping them in the game that they would eventually win 2-1 in overtime over the #5 ranked UConn Huskies.
The Warriors hit the road for two in Orono as they face the University of Maine Black Bears next Friday and Saturday night.
