SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Merrimack men's lacrosse team will try to earn its first win of the young season as the Warriors travel to Bryant on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors (0-2) are coming off a hard-fought loss to Holy Cross in their home opener.
Finn Dougherty, who recorded a hat trick against the Crusaders on Wednesday, leads the team with four goals in two games.
Casey Herod (three goals, two assists) has a team-best five points during the early going.
Merrimack, like all NCAA men's lacrosse coaches across the country, will wear a green lapel pin in honor of the late Liam Gleason. Gleason, the former coach of the Siena men's lacrosse team, tragically passed away on Dec. 3. He was 41 years old and is survived by his wife, Jaclyn, and three children.
