EDISON, NJ — Merrimack Baseball designated hitter
Jack Andrews was named as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Preseason All-MAAC team as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.
Andrews, a redshirt sophomore from Fairfield, Connecticut appeared in 34 games while making 19 starts for the Warriors last season, hitting a team best .333 batting average with a .918 Slugging Percentage, to go along with three home runs and 14 RBI. 10 of his 32 hits were for extra bases.
Andrews and Merrimack Baseball are getting ready to begin their season in two weeks' time when they face the University of North Carolina Wilmington on Feb. 18.
