NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. --
Jack Salva has been named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Rookie Team following the regular season in men's lacrosse, as announced by the conference Tuesday morning.
The Merrimack freshman attack ranks second on the team in points (36) and goals (24).
Salva was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week following a March 30-April 5 stretch in which he recorded six points in one game. That recognition from the MAAC came one week after he was named a First Team honoree from the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA).
Salva and the Warriors will continue their postseason run as they travel to Siena for a semifinal matchup in the MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championships.
