NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack women's golf team will open its 2026-27 season on its home tee box as the group hosts the Warrior Invitational at the Haverhill Country Club this week.
The two-day event will begin Monday and is set to feature teams from Stonehill, Boston University, Bryant, Hofstra, Holy Cross, Bentley and Providence. You can keep up with the results here.
Merrimack director of golf RJ Montez is thrilled to host the event, a rare occasion for the Warrior program.
The Warriors enter the season after they concluded the 2025-26 campaign with a fifth-place finish at the conference championships.
Each of Merrimack's top three scorers from last season return with junior June Doerr, sophomore Erika Redmond and sophomore Olivia Williams. Montez is thrilled to have those three back in the lineup and is looking forward to seeing what newcomer Redlichlein Hanslkie can bring to the program.
In addition to the Warrior Invitational this week, Merrimack has some exciting events on the season calendar with trips to Alabama, Georgia and Florida on the docket.
