Senior Mikhail Belov of the Merrimack College men's tennis program has been named this week Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week following a perfect 6-0 performance for the Warriors in three NE10 victories last week.

Belov won all three of his matches at No. 1 singles and earn three victories at top-flight doubles to star for the Warriors. The Navy and Gold increased their season-long winning streak to four matches, and clinched a first-round bye in next week's NE10 Championship.

The Russian native and fourth-year Warrior improved to 3-0 in three-set matches at No. 1 singles in regional play, rallying to beat the top options from Franklin Pierce and Assumption. Belov has yet to lose a conference match this season (7-0).

Belov and the Warriors end the regular season with a pair of matches this week including celebrating Senior Day on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. against Adelphi University from Northeast Tennis Center in Middleton, Mass.
