Sophomore wide receiver Sebastian Lucas (Baltimore, Md.) of the Merrimack College football team has been named this week's Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week for the 2017-18 season.

Lucas' historic afternoon was a driving force in Merrimack's 31-21 road win at American International College on Saturday. The Baltimore native tied former All-American Isaiah Voegeli '13 for the most receiving yards in a game in program history (269).

Lucas also set a new career-high with his two receiving touchdowns, and he did all that on just eight receptions, averaging well over 30 yards per catch. He was named an NE10 Weekly Honor Roll selection.

Lucas and the rest of the Warriors head home for the first time this season next Saturday when they host Bentley for a Saturday (Sept. 16) afternoon showdown. Kickoff from Martone-Mejail Field is set for 1 p.m.
